We love Komegashi too. It has something for everyone in our family. Whether we are taking out or eating in, this places had not disappointed in proving soul satisfying comfort for. We go on for the vegetarian rolls but also shrimp tempura for my daughter and chicken teriyaki for my wife. We all love the various combinations we can get in the vegetarian rolls including avocado, cucumber, jalapeno and cream cheese.

I brought in a guest from out of town yesterday and the hostess did not acknowledge us and when being asked to be seated she treated us with such disdain and disrespect.We walked out before being seated.I have never in my life been treated so terribly and was utterly embarrassed to have taken my guest there. The place needs to give their employees a refresher course on treating guests better especially a hostess should know better.

*UPDATE* In response to what the restaurant wrote, no they did not have prices next to the saki so stop lying, k thanks. The sushi was delicious and the views of NYC we're beautiful but I'm giving 2 stars for the following two reasons. 1) You can't sit at the window unless you're a couple, it's only 2 seater tables, which was disappointing, having come a long way just to go there for the view and being from out of town. 2) my husband ordered 2 orders of saki. They put prices on all of their alcohol except the saki. He asked the waitress what saki she recommended before ordering. She gave her recommendation and so he agreed. When the check came, his two orders of saki came out to $38! Ummmmm that's absolutely ridiculous! If you're going to recommend saki, how about you tell them it's expensive and costs more than their meal. They need to put prices on their saki.
